Empowering Consumers Through Education & Illustration
Gemfields has long been dedicated to educating consumers about coloured gemstones, empowering them to confidently buy, style, and care for their very own pieces of treasure. To support this mission, we were tasked with creating a series of custom illustrations and animations designed to simplify the gemstone buying journey, making the process both informative and visually engaging.
Our focus was on two key educational sections: How to Buy and How to Care for coloured gemstones. For both, we developed illustrations that clearly communicate key concepts and guidance, transforming complex information into accessible and memorable visuals. To further enhance the user experience, we brought these illustrations to life with carefully crafted animations, adding movement and interactivity that elevate the content and draw users in.
Drawing inspiration from the bold, graphic style of Maliké Favre, our illustrations infused Gemfields' educational content with a vibrant, contemporary flair. These dynamic visuals not only enhance the user experience but also ensure that gemstone knowledge is presented in a way that is both aesthetically striking and easy to understand.
Beyond the illustrations and animations, we also took charge of designing the layout for these educational pages and were responsible for regular updates to the website. This ensured that users could easily navigate and engage with all of Gemfields’ valuable resources, helping them make informed decisions when it comes to purchasing and caring for their gemstones.
